I wonder how the Byrd people will feel about us and about our project? I think as long as we are doing this fund-raising project responsibly, they will be okay with it and us involving them. Hey, it ought to be more publicity for them and maybe even more public interest in them.
I think the William Byrd Community House is neat because it is like a safe haven within the local neighborhood that is within reach; everyone may have access to it. The place seems down-to-earth, humble, effective, and very caring about the population and should be in touch with the people they serve and issues relevant to them.
